Hares are passive creatures found in the Mistlands. Mistlands hares appear much like real life hares, except for their valuable scaly hide.

For strategies for hunting Hares, see Passive creature strategies § Hare.
Notes[]
- Hare meat is used for Misthare supreme and Meat platter, two of the most potent HP-boosting foods in the game as of the Mistlands update.
- A hare's meat & hide both sink when in water, thus it is advisable to avoid killing one in deep water.
Trivia[]
- The hares of Valheim are much larger than the rabbits most players may be familiar with, but hares can indeed grow as large as the ones that appear in the game.
