Hildir is a character found in Meadows. Like her brother, Haldor, she is a Dvergr. She wears a red and white dress, a green and red necklace and a headband. At her camp, which was recently raided, Hildir sells several unique items that can be purchased for Coins.

Description[]

She has two Lox, named Blåbär and Hallon. She also speaks, like Haldor, saying things like, "My wares are made out of the finest cloth," and "You'll only find products of the finest quality in my shop, I assure you."

Location[]

Hildur's Camp Screenshot

Hildir has a similar spawning system to Haldor with 10 possible spawn locations that are located in Meadows, each at least 1000 meters apart, and only found between 3000 and 5100 meters[1] from the world center. Approaching any of these locations will permanently place Hildir there. When discovered, her dress icon will appear on the world map.

She spawns with her own point of interest, a small camp consisting of a large wagon, with multiple tents, barrels, her own firepit iron, and multiple divans you can sit on, and tables.

Like Haldor's, the camp is surrounded by a shimmering transparent dome that acts as a safety zone that Creatures cannot enter. The safe zone cannot be destroyed.

Quests[]

Hildir has a map table in front of her that leads to various different locations where special dungeons with special minibosses can be fought, and different loot is found. Interacting with the table adds the locations to your map. The locations are:

Up to three of each type of these locations will generate in each world. The spawning rules for each location type are as follows:

  • Smouldering tombs: Each 3000 meters apart, between 3000 - 8000 meters from the world center, at an altitude of at least 1 meter.
  • Howling caverns: Each 2000 meters apart, between 1000 - 8000 meters from the world center, at an altitude of at least 200 meters.
  • Sealed tower: Each 3000 meters apart, at an altitude of at least 8 meters.

When players find Hildir, it can be a good idea to drop a Portal in the vicinity to make easier returns.

Each of these quest locations is full of loot, enemies, and unique minibosses. Once defeated, these minibosses each drop a quest item:

Each of these chests weighs 200, has a stack size of 1, and cannot be teleported. Chests can be returned to Hildir, which unlocks additional trades from her; note that only one of each type of chest can be returned.

Returning a chest to Hildir will enable new Events, which will cause the chest's respective boss and their minions to invade your base.

Trivia[]

  • The transparent dome which surrounded Hildir's camp is the same as Haldor's camp and apparently powered by four small runestones placed around it and that each of them carved with Odin's Illusory Rune, a Viking glyph devised to provide camouflage and deception. This is fitting as the barrier only allows Hildir's and Haldor's potential customers to both see their camps and pass through it while hostile beings such as Greydwarfs cannot enter.

  1. The game will actually attempt to spawn Hildir between 3000 and 8000 meters from the center of the world. However, Meadows biomes only extend up to 5100 meters, which reduces the viable range down to 3000 - 5100 meters.
