Lightslinger

Lucian Lightslinger WR

Innate: After casting an ability, Lucian's next basic attack within 3.5 seconds fires an additional shot on-attack after 0.25 seconds, dealing physical damage equal to 50 / 55 / 60% (based on level) AD, increased to 100% AD against Minion icon minions. He will shoot the same target, else another target in range.

The second shot applies On-hit icon on-hit and on-attack effects, and is affected by Critical strike icon WR critical strike modifiers.

  • Lightslinger is triggered and consumed by the first attack, even if no target can be found upon firing the second attack.
  • The second attack, if the initial target was killed, will prioritize enemy champions regardless of having Sight icon sight of them or not and enemy Minion icon minions with Health icon low health.
  • Lucian can perform actions freely while firing Lightslinger since the second attack is integrated into the first one.
    • The second attack has special movement animations depending on the direction Lucian is moving while firing.
  • The second attack counts as a separate hit for effects such as Electrocute Electrocute, Muramana Muramana Shock.
  • The second attack separately rolls Critical strike icon WR critical strike.
  • The shots will apply against structures.

Piercing Light

Lucian Piercing Light WR

Active: Lucian fires a laser in a line in the direction of the target enemy that deals physical damage to enemies hit.

Physical Damage:
100 / 145 / 190 / 235 (+ 65 / 85 / 105 / 125% bonus AD)

  • Piercing Light will attempt to lead the target if it is moving but does not adjust further during the cast time (enemies can dodge the laser if they change their position by a sufficient amount during the cast time).
  • Lucian can buffer Ardent Blaze Ardent Blaze or The Culling The Culling during the cast time. Relentless Pursuit Relentless Pursuit is locked out.
    • This is why Lucian can use them early if the cast time prematurely ends.

Ardent Blaze

Lucian Ardent Blaze WR

Active: Lucian fires a missile in the target direction that explodes in a cross pattern upon hitting an enemy or maximum range, dealing magic damage to enemies hit and granting Sight icon sight of the area for 1 second.

Magic Damage:
75 / 125 / 175 / 225 (+ 90% AP)

Enemies hit are marked for 6 seconds. Lucian gains Movement speed icon bonus movement speed for 1 second when he or allied champions damage a marked target.

Bonus Move Speed:
65 / 70 / 75 / 80

  • This ability will cast from wherever the caster is at the end of the cast time.
    • Like most missiles, it will not collide with enemies whose center is beyond the maximum range (not behind Lucian), but this determines only the center and timing of the explosion.
  • Lucian will not gain bonus movement speed if attacks on marked targets are Jax Counter Strike old dodged, Spirit's Refuge blocked, or if missed while the attacker is Blind icon blinded.
  • Blaze DoTs will proc Ardent Blaze only once.
  • Spell Shield Spell shield will not prevent the mark.

Relentless Pursuit

Lucian Relentless Pursuit WR

Active: Lucian Dash dashes in the target direction.

Each Lightslinger Lightslinger attack Cooldown reduction icon reduces Relentless Pursuit's remaining cooldown by (1 / Champion icon 2) seconds.

Relentless Pursuit Bladework resets Lucian's basic attack timer. Abilities can be cast during the dash.

  • Additional on-hits during Lightslinger are not considered for the cooldown reduction (i.e Runaan's Hurricane Runaan's Hurricane).

The Culling

Lucian The Culling WR

Active: Lucian Channeling icon channels for up to 3 seconds, rapidly firing a number of shots in the target direction. Each shot deals physical damage to the first enemy hit, doubled against Minion icon minions. The Culling can be recast after 0.75 seconds during the channel, and does so automatically afterwards.

Physical Damage Per Shot:
20 / 40 / 60 (+ 25% AD) (+ 10% AP)
Minimum Total Physical Damage:
440 / 880 / 1320 (+ 550% AD) (+ 220% AP)

Recast: Lucian ends The Culling.

Lucian can move and cast Relentless Pursuit Relentless Pursuit during the channel.

  • During The Culling, Lucian's facing direction is in the direction that he is firing.
  • Lucian can interact with Dark Passage Dark Passage without Silence icon interrupting the channel.
  • The Culling creates the shots at an offset of 35 units to the front plus 35 units towards each side of Lucian (sides alternating, first shot fired from Lucian's right gun), unlike the missiles of most abilities.
  • The damage dealt by each bullet of The Culling is calculated when the bullet reaches a target, just like single missile abilities.

Tips & Tricks
The fire rate (and effectively the damage over time) increases with the number of shots.
