bacampicillin

 [bah-kam″pĭ-sil´in]
a semisynthetic penicillin of the ampicillin class, administered orally as the hydrochloride salt; it is hydrolyzed to ampicillin in the body and has antibiotic activity and uses similar to those of the parent drug.
