MANILA, Philippines A suspected member of the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters (BIFF) was killed in an encounter with soldiers in Maguindanao on Friday.The fatality was identified as Gabriel Amado, 49, a resident of Sitio Minanga, Barangay Bacat, Radjah Buayan, Maguindanao.

Plenty of existing barge carriers--LASH, BACO, BACAT I & II, SEABEE--have all the same disadvantage--they are designed for transportation on long distances over the sea, and the corresponding barge units are too small to be utilized economically on big rivers like Danube and Dnepr.
