The Hot tub is a decorative item that can be placed on any flooring, and can be built using the Hammer within the range of a Workbench. It requires Wood as fuel and produces smoke while lit. The Hot Tub also increases the Comfort level by 2 when fueled.
Uniquely, the hot tub will allow a player to gain the Rested Effect while wet, something that is not normally possible.
Destroying the hot tub with a hammer will not yield back any wood used for fuel and will only return the 20 wood, 6 tar, 10 iron, and 8 stone used for its construction. All wood used as fuel will not be dropped.
While working, it provides the Fire effect but only for about one meter around it.

A fueled hot tub will eventually kill the player in the Ashlands after spending too much time inside. This occurs in the same way as all water found in the Ashlands biome. In other biomes, the player character can remain in a hot tub indefinitely without being damaged by the water.
