GIBCA Crusher, which was founded in 1976 and is based in Ras Al Khaimah, currently supplies aggregates for concrete and asphalt across the UAE and in some neighbouring countries.

As per the deal, Etihad Rail trains will transport aggregates for Gibca Crusher from its quarry in Ras Al Khaimah to distribution terminals in Jebel Ali, Dubai; ICAD Cities I and IV and Ruwais in Abu Dhabi; Saqr Port in Ras Al Khaimah, and Fujairah Port.

Gibca, a manufacturing licensee of US-based Hufcor, said it has been making operable partitions and movable glasswalls under licence from Hufcor since 1998 at its factory in Ajman.

Other board members are Sheikh Khalid Bin Saqr Al Qassimi (vice chairman and managing director of Gibca Group), Ahmed Jamal Jawa (CEO of Starling Holding), Ali Samir Al Shihabi (chairman of Rasmala) and Saeed Khoory (Group chief executive of Emirates National Oil Company).
