The five-star Dusit Thani Abu Dhabi will showcase its new business tourism offerings at the GIBTM expo.

The familiarisation trips are designed to provide GIBTM's hosted buyers with an insight into business and meetings facilities offered in Bahrain and fellow programme launch partner destinations, Qatar and Jordan.

"By backing GIBTM's new post-show familiarisation trip initiative, the awareness of Bahrain's key MICE-related attributes will be heightened amongst a community of key industry decision makers from Europe, Asia and The Americas who are looking to stage meetings and events in the Gulf."

GIBTM is being held in Abu Dhabi from March 26 to 28.

The DTCM and DCEB's participation at the three-day GIBTM and its announcement that it will be hosting the largest-ever incentives group comes as part of efforts to grow awareness of the emirate's offer both regionally and internationally.

Sharjah has been participating in top local exhibitions like Arabian Travel Market in Dubai, and Gulf Incentive Business Travel and Meetings Exhibition (GIBTM) in Abu Dhabi to promote its tourism.
