baby-snatcher

slang
1. Someone who kidnaps a baby. I've seen that woman before—I think she's the baby-snatcher they've been talking about on the news! Call the police! There's a baby-snatcher at the hospital and a bomb scare at the church? Geez, what is this, a real-life soap opera? Help! Help! A baby-snatcher has taken my child!
2. Someone in a romantic relationship with a much younger person. Mom, that guy is 17 years younger than you. You'd be a baby-snatcher if you dated him! I'm no baby-snatcher! Lucy and I are actually the same age, she just looks really young. My brother is married to a girl 15 years younger than him, but I could never be a baby-snatcher like that—I need my romantic partner to be from the same generation as me.
