It doesn't matter just if you have DX11 installed in your PC, I belive it actually comes with Win7 these days. You gotta have a graphics card capable of using it as well.

Hmm. Maybe you could install the 1.1 patch? It also HUGELY improves the long loading times.

DX has been spoiled, this game is about personal vendetta, the only thing Square Enix seems capable of using as a story line.

DX1 your a g-man, a normal lacky in a cubical! You uncovered the story as you went. This game is as black and white as a final fantasy title.

Games square enix has ruined
Tomb Raider
Just Cause
Kane and Lynch
Deus Ex

I have played the beta and believe you get choices and they are gray. Especially the side quests.

Nah dude Tomb Raider was destroyed by Eidos.
Ion Storm did **** because they ruined DX: Invisible War.
Just Cause 2 is so much better as Just Cause 1.
I dunno about Kane & Lynch, never played it.

while i share your concerns about having too much of pre-defined characterisation of Adam, i don't think you can say the plot is banal before playing the game.
The lead writer is one of the few devs that actually post on DXHR forums, and judging by his posts he fully understands what DX is all about.
I'm sure the game will have many plot twists, and cheesy vendetta/girlfriend/other personal stuff is just a small subplot that will lead you to much bigger things.

From what I've seen so far they understand **** of what Deus-Ex really is. DX:HR doesn't deserve the name Deus-Ex as they totally went off target again. This has really nothing to do with Deus-Ex at all. And their forum is a ******* joke. They delete any critics posts because they want to pretend their game is good. Sorry guys, but this ain't true. You ******* failed at it and what we've seen so far shows this clearly... unless you live in a dream world pretending this game to be good (for which I dislike you, you Deus-Ex back-stabbing pseudo-fans).

OK to people hitting this game with **** (Kudos to Blaze_K and Dragonlord for your comments they are respectable (to an extent :P)) but lets face it no sequel or prequel is ever as good as good old originality but thats just the way it is, the storyline to this game has promise and I don't beleive it is ruined, more shifted. I believe they just want to give Dx fans a small dose of their curiosity what would it be like to be Gunther or Anna :) all in all, no it will not be as good as the original but it sure as hell will beat --:IW
