Well......I have to say...
Deus Ex made a stunning comeback :)
This game wants you live in that world, its so kinda deep feelling. And music is just Deus Ex!!!
I completely agree. This game just grabs you in and won't let go. It's rich with symbolism as well, like the two-tiered island of Hengsha, which is a clear metaphor for the upper and lower classes.
Does it have now mod support?
officially? no. but as you can see some small mods can be made without it.
Dude. This. Game. Is. AWESOME!
Nice to see an old quality franchise revived this way.
I'd give it a 9.4. Like everyone else, the only things I can actually complain about it is the AI, which I didn't thought was that bad actually, it seems that when you play run'n gun they are much better since they are decently good at tactical movement, flanking and etc. But when you play stealthy as I do they constantly don't spot you on ridiculous situations. And the boss battles, which are not only tedious but also are totally desingned for "agressive" players since all you can do is shoot the guy until he's down.
I hope we will see some good mods for this game in the future even if Eidos/Square doesn't release any SDK's.
this is an awsome game, but alot of the graphics and textures seem blurry, especially on the NPC's
did i have a bad intall?
i pre loaded it on steam
it also wont let me use directX 11 even though i have it installed
It doesn't matter just if you have DX11 installed in your PC, I belive it actually comes with Win7 these days. You gotta have a graphics card capable of using it as well.
i do, but i cannot select directX 11
Hmm. Maybe you could install the 1.1 patch? It also HUGELY improves the long loading times.
