Deal types of all sizes, valued from USD 100m to over USD 10bn, have
underperformed the Global Index on average.
Persson, Erling's son, said: "We have
underperformed both against our own plans and market expectations."

European stock markets moved broadly higher, although the MIB
underperformed in quiet trade and gains in the DAX looked modest compared to the rally in Chinese equities in particular overnight.
