Staff of Frost

The Staff of Frost is one of four Magic weapons introduced in the Mistlands update. Its primary attack fires freezing shards of ice at a rapid pace with low accuracy. While its poor accuracy limits the staff's effective range severely, the freezing effect slows any enemies hit by the attack. This allows even small and fast enemies to be hit repeatedly and kept at a distance.

The staff's damage and eitr usage are dependent on the caster's Elemental magic skill level. Like the other magic weapons, it has no secondary attack.

Wet enemies are vulnerable to Frost damage and will take increased damage from the staff.

Notes[]

• The head of the staff glows faintly light-blue at all times. It is a bit dimmer than most proper light sources, but can provide some light in the dark.
  • The glow effect also makes players slightly easier to detect while sneaking, increasing the visibility of its holder by approximately 20%.
