Kishi-Karoi

 

an undrained lake in northern Kokchetav Oblast, Kazakh SSR. Area, 102 sq km. The lake is situated at an elevation of 53 m, in a closed depression with solonchaks and sagebrush and sheep fescue semidesert. It is fed by snow. The Kishi-Karoi is extremely salty.
