Hello there, Humanoid Viewer. This project is in regards to one of many planned submods for STA3. To put it simply, it's a large scale fan-expansion of Final Edition, also utilizing elements from prior iterations of Armada 3 and SOA2. It is a major content Addon + QOL mod, seeking to make it so the game runs optimally in both a PVP and PVE setting, while also bringing abandoned ideas from Final Edition to life, and filling in game elements that I thought were lacking. It's primary changes are reworks of abilities, but more importantly ships and stations, along with adding a plethora of new ships and stations to all factions(not including borg), even throwing in some more NPC assets to make the game more interesting and lively. There is a new and expanded soundtrack added to the mix to give it a more energetic feel, with some easter eggs thrown if you should happen to have any DLC. Many assets are from every iteration of STA3 and others from SOA2. Changelogs will have exact credits. Lex

So, I've been taking the time to rework the mod entirely, effectively starting from scratch to try and locate and fix errors where I see them. I just recently put out a bare-bones beta release on my discord server, of which I've decided to translate over here shortly. There is a heavy array of changes and updates already but nowhere near completed or that well polished as I'd like. I wanna let you know that this project and the Dominion Blitzkrieg counterpart are not dead, progress is just taking time. Furthermore, with the assistance of the DS9R Dev/STA1 Remaster dev, whom of which is a friend of mine, we'll be able to expand the rosters of all factions that we deem fit, as you can see with the recent inclusion of the Orion Class, so you may see brand new stations and ships pop up from time to time. Hello, I'm trying out this mod and on my first go I did get the mini dump crash just after taking my first planet next to my home world. From what I've seen so far is good work though is there a way to balance the turning speed on ships. I don't think an Ambassador class ship should turn as fast as a Miranda class. Thanks again.

Thanks for the feedback. However, can you try playing on a series of different maps to see if such an error persists? If so, we can try and narrow the possibilities.

Hi, I play on a custom map I made for the non sub mod of Armada 3. The map still works. I did notice that when I lower the settings from Extreme to High the crashes were minimal to non. I believe I used to have these crashes when Armada 3 was still being worked on. I think the mods are just pushing the game engine to the limits. I'll keep posting on errors and other suggestions. Ah, very good then.
Yeah, Armada 3 is already a more stressed game, and running graphics to max on it in any capacity bares a risk in the long term for a game.

Small question.Which Federation ship do you have that conqueres asteroids for mining? There was a planet with a starbase that says it can be conquered.It used to be the Curry class.

While most of the envisioned new additions will be a surprise, it will consist of additional hotfixes, description updates, redone abilities, QoL changes and reduced debris and other things that may contribute to game instability/lag

Cool, I still been playing the Federation and I did notice that the Typhoon class ability to add an extra shuttle doesn't seem to be working. I add points to it and only still have 4 crafts.

Thanks for letting me know. I also did notice that when I build a IR command Platform, the buffs it gives fluctuate on and off ever second. Is that normal or is it supposed to be on all the time?

I am so excited about this. SoA2 had the best point/counterpoint balance between the factions, and Armada3 had great art and combat. I'll give it a shot :)

Alright so I've figured out my issues for the most part with the random crashes, but now my game is soft locked at a point where I can't attack a single ship without a minidump. I've even turned my graphics settings down to the lowest with no luck. No idea if you can find a fix for this but it's sad to see I can't even finish my match.

I got about 2 hours in with multiple minidumps mind you, but was always able to power through it eventually until this time.

Edit: I tested out another save and was able to make it 2 and a half hours in this time without getting soft locked but it seems toward the end game minidumps become more frequent
