As for me puddles no longer appear on dirt ground, asphalt only. Only removing detail folder brings them back. Used to work fine with prev versions of this mod.

Also it seems new terrain features works also with asphalt only, there are no changes with dirt terrain compared to vanilla.

Am I missing something? Thx in advance

If you're using custom textures for your terrain, the new system will not work.

What could be the reason for this? I reinstalled it four times over the course of a year, trying to make a normal build, not so long ago everything went to hell again and I reinstalled it again after performing a clean installation, what could be wrong with the water? There is also a question why are all the surfaces on the screen so bright? I installed everything clearly according to the instructions

I will also add that sometimes the water may look normal, but still has a strong flicker and sometimes disappears when the camera is rotated

You need to follow the installation guide and check if something is overwriting files from SSS.

Having the same bug an earlier poster had logged. Pulse anomaly is a blinding bright ball. Haven't been able to find ANY info on it so I have to assume it's related to not having the game's graphical settings maxed out. I play on something slightly above medium settings. SSS settings are all default.

Someone on Youtube ( @ea4571 ) shared with me a fix. Edit the "bind_anomaly_field.script" and reduce the value of every line with the definition of "pAno_light.lanim_brightness".

Hello, Ascii. Rain puddles doesn't work with GAMMA. I tried different options , installed everything point by point. The ground does not get wet if i installed SSS + ES ( MCM contains "wet surfaces" in SSS settings). If install only SSS, the ground gets wet, but puddles do not appear ( MCM doen't contain "wet surfaces" in SSS options). I launched a clear Anomaly only with SSS and puddles just works. Problem is specifically in GAMMA. I played GAMMA over a year ago and puddles worked.

I have an odd issue, mod works normally, but if I sellect the Ice shader instead of the regular one it fails to compile. Load order is fine,and i've deleted the shader cache each time. I'll keep trying things out, might be an incompatibility or i might just be overlooking something. Checking the console it's green light across the board.

Installed the mod + all the mentioned things in the "extra preparation" section doing everything according to the instructions, but my game is extremely dark. Like, you can see that there is sun and sun shadows and everything but super dim. How do I fix this? The shader cache was cleared.

UPD1: Checked the shader based scopes checkbox in the Beef's NVGs settings and it made the game a tiny bit less dark. In SSS settings the shader based scopes support is turned on as well.

UPD2: The NVGs don't work at all, like, there is no even sound of it turning on/off

I solved the same problem (after attempting the 'impossible') by manually installing Enhanced_Shaders_Color_Grading, ShaderDrivenScopes, Beefs_NVGs, ScreenSpaceShaders, Atmospherics (following the procedure carefully), and then using MO2 to have all the other modifications active. It works (the NVGs will also start working again ^^).

Actually I solved it by basically turning my gamma and brightness settings up, apparently some of the mods, probably the Enhanced Color Grading, kinda changes the way they work so the default values look too dark
