I have this working now! This is awesome!
I am using shaders look better, and custom blowing fog and leaves/dust.

I have only one minor issue. It's with IL.
At the farm in cordon, the light above Xeno casts an odd shadow, on the wall opposite the light bulb. When player approaches him it appears. Back up it blinks out. There would be no shadow on the wall opposite the light source.
The previous version at the farm the fires had light flickering rectangles when viewed from the roof.
This does not.
Other than the guy who told me to toggle off the effect. What can I do to fix in settings?
Toggling off Force volumetric does remove the oddity. I did try in settings_screenspace_IL.h

Edit:

Ideas?

I toggled off force volumetric. It was in many places with a light bulb. It's been there since the feature. I seem to be the only one with it so ...never mind.

Someone can explain why PBRs from ES 1.10 disappear after installing "96 - IMPROVED GLOSS & WET SURFACES". Moreover, the settings say that IMPROVED GLOSS & WET SURFACES only works when ES 1.10 is installed, but as a result, because of this, ES now works incorrectly.

Hi, i'm using version 20.2 and the latest atmospheric and in Jupiter at the anomalous grove there is some weird purple color effect. This doesn't happen in version 19 with a previous atmos version. Maybe is the latest atmos the problem?

I'm not seeing a way to change any of the blood settings? I looked in your directions and saw the ssfx_blood_decals command but the parameters only allow something like 6-000001e so I can't change any values.

ok i figured it out, not sure what all you got going compared to me, but i have a heavily modified GAMMA install (so i cant just run the gamma updater) . and your error was identical to mine, so maybe you in same boat? either way, i hadn't updated my ATMOSPHERICS to the latest ver, was still on 2.3, i never went to 2.43 cuz it gave me errors at the time, and now hadn't noticed there was a 2.45 yet,

so long story short, i installed 2.45, and now it all just works fine!

Yes, old version of ATMOSPHERICS will broke your installation, it contain out dated SSS files.

I reverted to the SSS 19 release. Everything worked well. I got tired of trying to tweak the IL to eliminate the flicker noticeable at the farm. Light bulb to the left of Xeno, it would cast a shadow on the wall when close to xeno, strange. Puddles disappeared. Odd shadow at campfires. The shadow created by blocking the sun stayed too dark near a fire. Example fire at bunkers at like 1700 hrs, had a shadow with the fire lit. The shadow should be overcome by the fire glow. Weird shadows for me with this release 2.0-2.2.
19 works good and looks good.

There's no modifications to shadows on update 20. Those features are from Update 19. Without more information it Sounds like an incorrect installation.

Did an experiment. Put the new shaders 2.2 in my old shader game data without the new terrain masks and I have puddles again. How bout that. Kinda too much puddle but puddles non the less.

Thank you, I changed the r2 tonemap values and the sky is better. The lights inside yantar is still weird, tried to change values but still like in the second picture..

EDIT: I fixed it: it was the R2_sun_lumscale_amb values that were causing it.

Looks like some problem with the LUT module. Don't install the addon if you don't have correct tables or an addon with LUT tables.

There are several problems
1) When I rotate the camera, I literally see shadows being drawn right in the frame; there was no such problem in update 19.
2) Lods, the rendering distance is disgusting, in the backwater the bright green lod sharply discolors me.

I don't understand your shadows problem. Are you talking about the shadow cascades? About the lods... Are you using custom textures? You set a longer draw distance with the command ps_ssfx_terrain_quality?

The fact is that the distance for drawing shadows is too small. Shadows are drawn literally in front of your nose. Or rather, they are there, but only when approaching do they become sharply clear and detailed.
I use GTR. And yes, I entered this console command, but honestly, I didn’t understand what I needed to enter, because there are too many indicators, there is no single number from “1 to 9” that would indicate the drawing distance.

ps_ssfx_terrain_quality - There is simply no such command.

ssfx_terrain_quality - I enter this command, there are a bunch of incomprehensible numbers, changing which changes nothing.

So, I entered the command, the drawing distance of the LODs became larger, but still not enough. In the backwater, I can still see the bare textures of the rocks.
I tried to enter 20 instead of 12, but the game does not allow me to do this, it would be wonderful to be able to raise it even to 30.

Now about the shadows. There is like a halo around my character that draws shadows and when it catches your eye, it looks very ugly..

This is my problem also. Running Graupel snow mod. Same pop in for distance ground textures even after maxing out terrain quality setting. He has obviously limited this for performance but should suggest a file edit really.
