The number of Emirati businesswomen and entrepreneurs in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi has hit 3,555 and they are running projects valued at billions of dirhams, Mohammed Thani Murshed Al Rumaithi, chairman of the Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry was quoted as saying by Wam, the official Emirates news agency.
Abu Dhabi: UAE plans to increase its investment in the agriculture sector abroad and is active in many countries, an official from Federation of UAE chambers of commerce and industry said.
"The latest statistics show that the number of industrial establishments in the country has increased from 4,960 in 2010 to more than 5,491 in 2012," said Mohammad Al Nuaimi, Assistant Secretary General of the Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
The SCCI director general also attended the inauguration of the 77th Izmir International Fair, accompanied by a UAE delegation which included Abdullah Bin Ahmed Al Saleh, director general of the UAE Ministry of Foreign Trade, and Shaheen Ali Shaheen, assistant secretary general, Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry. The exhibition provided the delegates a valuable glimpse into Turkish partnership and investment prospects and its favourable business climate.
