might i suggest lowering the origin of the model... he seems to be floating now, or otherwise change the locomotor so he's on the ground.

Now where are the Khorne Flakes? Dobrochan.ru one would expect those here.
not neccesarily, it depends on camera settings.
Then still this is probly the in-game model, which will be stationary most of the time, so why would one decrease detail levels by adding a blur ;)
Will it deploy like an mcv? so it can be redeployed elsewhere, or deploy like RA3 Japans nanocores? I think that would be an interisting question to answer before deciding on what it can build...
new one looks more futuristic, and the contrast makes it looks slightly better, however both of them look fine.
hmm, it looks better, though utterly not-flyable due to the space between the rotors.
The Helix (EA version) is probably based one a Kamov KA 27 or 25 like this one http://www.military-today.com/helicopters/kamov_ka27_helix.jpg if i remember correctly only one of the 2 rotors tilts for movement, which in this model would not be posible. I offcourse fully understand a choice to not change it, but wanted to name it anyway.
I usually have the game slowing down issue on SupCom 1 and FA(due to using just one CPU core), can't remember to have had it that notably on SupCom 2 (my CPU = dual core AMD 1.9-2.5 ghz)
I don't seem to be able to start a skirmish, but multiplayer does show some nice work. Congratz on your progress so far.
Bugs which i found:
-some of your tracked vehicles have the threads rotating backwards(i've spend day's fixing my own models of this problem so i know it's horrible)
-The mod crashed when activating the middle one of the EU Strategy center strategies after having activated the most right one.
The problem you are having probably has to do with the way generals models are built up... In RA3 a model is usually just a few objects (meshes), in Generals it's more like around ten or even more meshes. From what i've heard RA3 engine doesn't like meshes, if this really is the reason for the slowdown then the models would need to be modified to fix this.
Was the UI adapted for modern screens, as in widescreen rather than 4*3, only visual or also as pick-able resolutions in-game?
There is a trick with which one can triple the number of AI supported factions.
Simply make the player/AI select it's faction from a set of starting factions from it's starting building, only you'd be limited to one difficulty per faction and you'd get some difficulties with generals powers.
Full HD resolution, and then the file is called Monkylord_mark_II_small.jpg XD
Anyway nice, i was looking for a good Spiderbot wallpaper for my desktop :)
Threads in ZH are always difficult, the problem is that it's 2d.
Most modern real life tanks fill your black area by having bigger wheels, and are more suited for 2d.
For this one however i'd suggest to even out the spece between the four ground thouching wheels, then increase the size of your suspension part. A bit like En.tracesofwar.com perhaps.
An other option that might be interesting, as it's a total conversion and not directly based on reality, is using differently sized wheels in the thread to fill the gap. Like the third vehicle Moddb.com , which has one big wheel and four smaller ones around it to form the trapezium shape of the track.
Is it just me, or is the soldier with the ppsh (lower right) holding his left hand in the ammo drum?
Might i suggest also looking at createObjectDie code, it has a function for overkill. Maybe you can make it so that a seriously overkilled tank doesn't spawn a crew as the crew would not have a chance of exiting the tank.
"RA3:Paradox Alpha The Third" SR3 much? :P
That would be the alpha scorpion then, and indeed it does.
I like the Egyptian vehicles, finally some totally different designs.
It seems like the Titan and Juggernaut walk animation is slightly off, making them slide the first part of their steps.
The view on the right is it's rear, The T-35(this tank's real life counterpart) was very long and quite unusual looking. Forinstance the Turrets all sitting at the front of the tank.
Maybe try to create a shine over it, like the electricity on the powerplants.
See, that's someone that gets it... Gamers want to be able to get all unlocks :P
As for the 4th rank five protocol, commandset.ini says the're only 3 position, but when i screwed up something in a .wnd file and killed the screens functionality it really did have a fourth button on the rank 5 row. So, i think it's possible.
P.s. don't ask me about .wnd's, my screwed up .wnd file was nothing more than a bad renaming job, which failed utterly.
I'd have to agree in this case. As being T2 it just looks a little to much.
Looking at the original Generals and Zero Hour, china stuf was cheaper, but also worse. The balence was allowing china to build more stuf than the USA, so they could overwhelm them. As this is an FPS not RTS a first question would be: how do you want your balance?
If the idea would be to make the units compareable, then a compareable economy would also be the way to go.
Play more games = always
Do nothing = Not an option
Release a game = than i'll first have to make one
Develop a game = yes, if i have sufficient free time to work on one
One tip: the Tag (KindOf) in an object that makes an object prevent the player from losing is "MP_COUNT_FOR_VICTORY", that tag doesn't function on units!
So I'm not sure whether a player could only have an MCV in vehicle mode without losing.
Map sizes are rather limited in Generals and Zero Hour, Twilight Flame for instance is already nearing the engine's limits.
There is offcourse the option of making line shaped maps, than the max is (in worldbuillder settings) about 500 by 150 alligning to a real-life 1.5 kilometers by 450 meters. Still mapsizes are unfortunately quite limited.
Didn't (yet), will do
yes, one unit can have multiple draw functions

I am a dreamer, sometimes a coder/artist/designer/modeler/animator/gamer/listener/helper/student/thinker, and much more. I like to think of things that nothing is impossible, and I learned throughout time that there'll always be another day that'll be a better day. A nice quote I like to live to is: Death smiles at us all, all we can do is smile back. The only thing that I believe in is a persons will, If one really wants to do something he/she will be capable to do such a thing, that's how I learned most of the stuff that I know.
