Template documentation (for the above template, sometimes hidden or invisible)
Transcludes content from another article while adding a link to said article for reference. Does not work for transcluding articles in Category namespace nor does it work in transcluding content that already uses Template:Transclude (nested transclusions).
Usage
{{Transclude|<article_name>}}
Notes
- Beware of using this template to transclude large articles/sections or multiple articles/sections at once. This method takes up more post-expand include size than traditional transclusions.
- See Category:Pages where template include size is exceeded for pages on the wiki that have this issue.
- If you want to target section tags on an article, then use labeled section transclusion.
- Will not render properly if there are wikilinks (
[[]]
) in the section header.
