PSMC3

A gene on chromosome 11p11.2 that encodes a 26S protease subunit involved in the ATP-dependent degradation of ubiquitinated proteins. It interacts with PAAF1 and HIV-1’s Tat, suppressing Tat-mediated transactivation.
