Press the home key during gameplay, not while in menus
Press the HOME key, then select 'game tweaks'
No expansions. But fortunately you can play it with hundreds of user-made custom maps instead. Tutorial here: Moddb.com
Well, in that case Zircon is probably compatible with this mod.
Development of C+ started in 2021. It pre-dates any public awareness of Zircon, then I had to go on hiatus for a long while. I came back and pushed to get this finished for fans.
If you want an explanation as to why.
Alternatively, nobody told me it existed. I didn't promote the mod until now, so nobody really knew Combat+ existed either outside of my most loyal fans.
Let me know if it is compatible.
Unfortunately not. Mostly because I have no idea how intensive that would actually be, I'd need guidance from one of the developers bare minimum.
Why not? Because there is Secmod and SS2RSD. Both are close enough in style to what I'd do. Sure, maybe I'd do it better (probably not as SS2 modding is highly technical, from what I can tell, and both those mods are very impressive), but I am happy with the existing mods and feel little desire to do anything. I only mod games I feel are lacking an adequate core gameplay enhancement mod in some way. Arx Fatalis is indeed one such game...
Nah.
Isn't SS2 RSD nearly at that point now?
I'm not sure why exactly Q1.5 and/or SMC was not compatible with those expansion packs in the first place, nor precisely the work involved to fix it. Seems like a lot of work though, perhaps unjustified when one could just play 100s of custom user maps instead - this is compatible with anything that doesn't touch Progs.dat, which is thankfully clearly defined on quaddicted.com.
Technically, you can disable them. But then you will be missing one of the best things about this mod, they're such an awesome enemy. Do they break the balance? For the faint of heart or low-skilled, possibly. This mod makes any map slightly harder, which can get intense with custom maps designed to be very hard. It has been tested with hundreds.
Good to have for a higher level of difficulty and purism. Thanks for making this.
Back working on this again. I will keep nearly everything Quake 1.5, just extending and polishing it up.
Can neither confirm nor deny.
For now, I've been working on other projects:
Check the addons page. People are still releasing forks.
Resources are more forgiving on lower difficulties. If you want casual play, that should work for you. The idea though is if you want to unlock all doors, you must invest in lockpicking to master level. That's the point in the skill.
I don't consider it particularly OP because that requires a lot of waiting around which...just why would you do that? You're more OP if you run and gun like a madman with ALL the weapons as intended. Furthermore it won't have much effect at all lvl3 and beyond where things get hectic. But I will consider a nerf nonetheless.
Conpatible with 227i only. Installation instructions are on the files page as well as in the download itself.
I don't consider D3 worthy of my time. Not a terrible game, but the core design isn't there to work with.

Did you download latest versiom? Has the fix there
The checkpoints ruin the level completely. I locked them. Still one half-way through though.
Sorry. Most features are straight upgrades but this is one of the more subjective changes. I would make it optional if I knew how. Personally I like it to make the tek bow more competent late game/more powerful in general. The mod isn't a walk in the park on higher difficulties so it is arguably needed.
This only appears to happen for some players. Try restarting the level.otherwise noclip console command will get you over. Same command again to go back to walking
Thanks for the report. Does it crash if you go any other way?
