After ten long years, the Circle of Eight is pleased to present the 'final' version of our modpack - Circle of Eight Modpack Version 8. This release falls ten years to the day after the release of The Temple of Elemental Evil in North America. It is the culmination of years of dedicated work from literally dozens of contributors, and it serves as testimony to the enduring passion for quality turn-based strategy games in the modern era.
As usual, the modpack comes in standard and new content editions. You can download the standard (left) and new content (right) versions below.
Please see the included release notes for a comprehensive changelog, or visit www.co8.org..
The Circle of Eight would like to sincerely thank Troika Games and all its employees for ten years of enjoyment, entertainment, enlightenment, amusement, frustration, and ultimately triumph. We only hope that the modpack brings ToEE a bit closer to what you had wanted it to be from the start.
To everyone else, thank you for playing. And as usual, we sincerely hope that you enjoy this final edition of The Circle of Eight Modpack.

I'm having a problem with downloading the 7.6.0 NC file. For some strange reason, only 320 MB out of 362MB will download before displaying itself as "complete." If I try to run the so-called completed program, it then displays a message that reads "files have been corrupted. please try to download again."
You might try deleting your temporary internet files and re-downloading.
I keep getting an error when trying to install this..
something about being unable to rename a file in the directory..
You're going to have to be more specific. Please seek troubleshooting help at Co8.org.
Ok its not working for me- first strange thing is that my GoG ToEE is installed in the Atari directory - but I cant find it
When I install and hit start it errors with "Another Instance of Front end is running"
Weird

What do you mean by "can't download" specifically? What happens when you click on a download link?
Does 7.6.0 BC breaks saves from 7.5.0 NC?
I installed version 7.6.0 NC normally and continued a saved I had from 7.5.0 NC, seems fine so far except the fact that
1) a fighter had to suffer from buckler check penlty -1 on his attack,
2) a new wizard I added to the party has no sling proficiency????
Saves are not compatible between modpacks. You should always start a new game after installing a new version.
It appears the problem wasn't from different mod versions after all.
I reverted back to 7.5.0 NC (and restored the saves as well of course) and the wizard still has no sling proficiency! He has with heavy crossbow but not with sling (its also "red" in inventory).
If it makes any difference, I add the new wizard character as a 6th member (using TFE-X) AFTER I started the game, from the Inn logbook.
He is human, general wizard with combat casting and point blank shot feats.
Ok I checked again, the -1 AB the fighter had from buckler was because of Weapon Finesse feat.
The Wizard's non-proficient with sling still not found any reason why its there..
That's why I'm asking so, I didn't noticed anything on the readme.
