After ten long years, the Circle of Eight is pleased to present the 'final' version of our modpack - Circle of Eight Modpack Version 8. This release falls ten years to the day after the release of The Temple of Elemental Evil in North America. It is the culmination of years of dedicated work from literally dozens of contributors, and it serves as testimony to the enduring passion for quality turn-based strategy games in the modern era.
As usual, the modpack comes in standard and new content editions. You can download the standard (left) and new content (right) versions below.

The Circle of Eight would like to sincerely thank Troika Games and all its employees for ten years of enjoyment, entertainment, enlightenment, amusement, frustration, and ultimately triumph. We only hope that the modpack brings ToEE a bit closer to what you had wanted it to be from the start.

GodDAMN do I love modders, seriously, who else would've spent ten years of their lives pouring over code and wouldn't even consider getting paid for their work except for the simple love of modding?
It's incredible to think that a proggin' group would spend more time modding for a game longer than the team that progged for TNM team for Deus ex and the deities of modding SureAI! From this humble little gamer I Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!

Hi, i installed the latest version and the patches. But the game stop working at the menu screen.

Before i installed the CoEModpack the game just crash while opening so until this moment i havent been able to play

Bug in latest version of New Content
Some menus and option buttons has nothing written on. I just started to playing in Ironman mode, radial menus and quantity buttons has no visible words on them!
Hi, I have Win8.1 and I can't open either standard or new content files. It comes up with a "archive in unknown format or damaged error. My java is up-to-date. please help.

I honestly can't believe that you still worked on TOEE after such a bloody long time... I played TOEE ages ago with Circle of Eight and I think it is time to take a look back soon. This I call dedication thank you !
ok I have seen server people with this error; invalid CEN header (bad signature) what can I do
