This is a submod for Between Empires that seeks to add East Asia in the early 20th century to Warband. With several time periods to start from, including the Warlord Era and Second Sino-Japanese War, Between Republics will cover a particularly tumultuous time in the region's history and introduce a plethora of factions and units with widely differing playstyles and rosters.

There will be some 30-40 factions in the mod, some of which are either closely related or are part of other bigger factions. Some factions can also form a new faction with a different name and roster.

you plan to do Southeast Asia?
I’ve recently added Vietnam, Cambodia, Burma, and the Philippines under French Indochina, British Colonies and the United States of America.
I'm very hopeful about this mode, I'm sure it will be the best mode of Warband.

Worst thing in between empires mod was being unable to enjoy "normal citizen" life, there wasnt posibility to have your own enterprise like jn native, it was too much "ruler-oriented". I hope you can fix that mistake and let players also choose ti be normal villagers or something like that. It would also be awesome to add hunting
Is there a feature like updating soldier units to become officers/companions where we can also make them village/city leaders, like in The Red Wars 2? Thanks

will there be better rp elements or nah?
It's one of the bigger priorities I have set up right now; stuff from native like persistent lord identities will be making a return. Furthermore, I got many unique companions planned, most of them characters from historical dramas, TV shows, and occasionally comedies(knowing Shanghai is in the mod, some of you may get an idea of what's planned).
If you have any ideas to share regarding rp, I would be glad to hear them too; who knows, perhaps some of them will find themselves in my mod.
Possibly have a recruitment center in the capitals that you could walk to so you can join the army that way
