[close] Looking for a unique book club to join? Please consider the Adventist Bibliophiles. Part book club, part community organization, and part social group – our overall goal is to increase spiritual well-being and literacy through sharing the love of reading. We’ll be delving into a variety of books, mostly those written by modern-day Seventh Day Adventist/Christian authors with the hope of creating a safe and fun place to learn and discuss issues of faith and current hot topics in Christianity for personal enrichment. You don’t have to be an Adventist to join, all are welcomed. The Beliefs of the Seventh - day Adventist Church: Seventh-day Adventist Christians hold the Bible as the only source of our faith. From Scripture, we hold 28 fundamental beliefs that can be organized into six categories: the doctrines of God, humanity, salvation, the church, Christian living and restoration. “In each teaching, God is the architect, who in wisdom, grace, and infinite love, is restoring a relationship with humanity that will last for eternity” (adventist.org). [close] Welcome to the Half Moon Society, a close knit and intimate group of readers, writers, poets, artists, musicians, dreamers, and more. The wish is for those who discover this society to feel it is familiar, and that it can become a kind of second home- as it has become mine.  There are sections for each of you to grow slightly acquainted with, and more sections for you to grow comfortable with. There are places for poets to share their emotions, for students to study with fellow academics, and even for the creatives and dreamers to roleplay in an ambient setting. We have study sessions through a google meet daily, held by moderators, which here are known as Heads. They have ambience and music in the background, and usually are silent and members can communicate through a chat. Anyone can join using the section dedicated to this. There are six Houses you can become a member of, either using this quiz, or choosing whichever one calls to you the most. They are these: House Meraki, House Orphic, House Noli Timere, House Recherche, House Paracosm, and House Nemophilist. It is my dream that members of these Houses can grow close, like a second family, and rely on these friends in many ways. Once more, welcome.

[close] Broccoli Book Club is a socially progressive book club, that's good for you. Each month we will read a book that helps challenge our current understanding of the world we live in and learn something new, whether that is how our data is used, how politics is different around the world or understanding a lesser-known mental health condition to name just a few. We want to learn.

[close] Also known as Litsy Feminist Book Club. We're an online feminist and social justice book club that focuses on books and literature as a way to build social awareness and turn it into action. Our book club selections are fiction and nonfiction, usually based on a monthly theme. We make an effort to read books based on current events and as diversely and intersectionally as possible. We read a book a month. We read starting on the 1st of every month with discussions that start during the last week of that month, e.g. May 1 with discussions May 25-31. Join us!
