be ridgy-didge

1. To be good or all right. It will take time to recover from something like this, yes, but one day, everything will be ridgy-didge again. When I suddenly lost my job, it was hard to imagine things would ever be ridgy-didge again. I just checked the exhaust fan and everything is ridgy-didge there, so I'm not sure what made that awful sound.
2. To be honest or upright. Is this fella ridgy-didge? I don't want to go into business with any shady characters. Adam's ridgy-didge, I promise you. I wouldn't set your daughter up with anyone who's not. Don't worry about Jason, he's ridgy-didge. I know he'll charge you a reasonable amount for the repair.
3. To be true or genuine. I don't know that I can trust that guy—half of what he says isn't ridgy-didge. I have information that proves that explanation to be ridgy-didge, so you should believe it. Is this proposal of hers ridgy-didge? I hope not, because it's positively ridiculous!

4. interjection Used to ask or confirm that something is true or genuine. A: "Really? Ridgy-didge?" B: "I swear to you. I'm telling the truth." A: "Oh, come on, there's no way that happened." B: Ridgy-didge!"
