1. To return to some location in or as if in a circular path. A: "Shoot, I forgot my phone at home." B: "No problem, we can just circle back around for it." I have to drop off some of these supplies first and then circle back around to the store for the rest of them. Just stay on the path and you'll hit the coffee shop, then circle back around to the hotel.
2. To revisit or return to an idea or topic of conversation. I like that idea, Frank. Let's put a pin in it for now and circle back around at the end of the meeting. Our conversations inevitably circle back around to money issues. Don't worry, we'll circle back around to your question, Jack.
