First off, allow us to apologize for our prolonged absence - we've had much to contend with and it's been a very exciting (and sometimes turbulent) year for us.
However, we are happy to announce the launch of a devblog for our new game, BEACON, a sci-fi action roguelike coming to PC. We know this might not be your cup of tea as it is very different from Black Snow, but give us a chance to impress you. And if it happens to be right down your alley, then by all means follow us along the development of the game and chime in to give your feedback as we create the product together!

First attempt at fixing the exit key issue, replace your maps folder with the one in the zip file and pray it works!

I fired it up and the screen was just a white box and it just said some error message. What do i do?
I did the SteamPipe gameinfo.ctg fix, but the game crashes during the opening cutscene (when the guy is pulled into the darkness). Has anyone found a way to get the game running correctly yet?
I managed to extract the right gcf files to a seperate folder and made a shortcut to run blacksnow and now the games runs without problems.

I get the same issue. White screen at the beginning as it loads and it doesnt work. Ive tried the steam pipe fix and it gets to the intro part where the first guy dies and hl2.exe stops working. Apparently the answer I got was this...
"Unfortunately with the new update from Valve for SDK 2013, Black Snow is no longer playable in its current state. We do not have the time nor the manpower to fix this at the moment as we're involved in the current project that is in a critical phase of development. Rest assured we will fix and maybe even revamp Black Snow after our current commitments are announced."
Shame I know, I think the should fix this first then go back to their "critical project," but thats just me.
