First off, allow us to apologize for our prolonged absence - we've had much to contend with and it's been a very exciting (and sometimes turbulent) year for us.
However, we are happy to announce the launch of a devblog for our new game, BEACON, a sci-fi action roguelike coming to PC. We know this might not be your cup of tea as it is very different from Black Snow, but give us a chance to impress you. And if it happens to be right down your alley, then by all means follow us along the development of the game and chime in to give your feedback as we create the product together!

For anyone dealing with issues playing the mod, e.g. "Can't find file materials/console/background01_widescreen.vtf", here's some luck. I found this, which fixed my problem, so hopefully it'll fix yours.

I wanted to try this, but Valve already beat me.

I can't believe Valve does this to us. They ruin great mods, just to make some games load faster. Grr... I despise Steampipe.

can source SDK base 2006/2007 be used with this mod ? And would it have the red error sign on missing textures ? or do I need half life 2 episode 2 ?
HL2:EP2 is needed to play the mod!
