First off, allow us to apologize for our prolonged absence - we've had much to contend with and it's been a very exciting (and sometimes turbulent) year for us.
However, we are happy to announce the launch of a devblog for our new game, BEACON, a sci-fi action roguelike coming to PC. We know this might not be your cup of tea as it is very different from Black Snow, but give us a chance to impress you. And if it happens to be right down your alley, then by all means follow us along the development of the game and chime in to give your feedback as we create the product together!

Whenever I try to launch the game it just gives me a white screen then I hear the sound of an error and then game just closes.
same here the **** is going on with half life 2 mods i get the same promblem with nightmare house 2
So, I get past the part in the plane at the beginning, then it crashes. Every time.
Ive just downloaded and installed this mod using Desura. Each time I try to play Blacksnow the main menu doesnt work and I get a message saying "Cant find background image 'materials/console/blacksnow_menu1.vtf'". A liyttle help please? Would one of the patches fix this? Thanks!
If I use steams updated half life, blacksnow crashes in same spots with error blaming shaderapidx9.dll. I have an old orange box install and I used that to run blacksnow, but Im getting particle error (didnt find particle function). is there a way to fix this?. Im missing some visual effects.

Hey guys. Here's a fix for people having trouble with BLACK SNOW after the SteamPipe update: Dropbox.com
Just download that, replace the "gameinfo.txt" file and make sure you have HL2:EP2 installed.
Is this for the "cannot find background material" error, or the game crashing error?
I believe it's a fix for missing materials. I had to edit gameinfo.txt in order to even start the mod myself, so I should know.
