In his fortress of Shaddar-Nur, the necromancer Shaddar, a pariah of the Band of Mages from Mystdale Castle, plans his triumphant return to the world of Ancaria. To strengthen his magic powers, he summons a Sakkara Demon, whose power he will absorb himself. These Sakkara Demons rule over those damned to rot in hell, the undead. Not since the Era of the Gods have any of these creatures set foot in Ancaria, not since the Seraphim army drove them back to their dimension during the Wars of the Gods. However, Shaddar's experiment fails. The Sakkara Demon escapes and turns on his summoner...

Why didn´ t DESURA list the supported ingame languages?!? :-(
Sorry for asking but is it in german too?
Or is it only in english?
If it is only in english (audio) but the written text is also in german too, can i copy my german audios from
my Windowsversion to the linuxversion?
Greetings
The website says English only: Linuxgamepublishing.com
There's no option in-game to change the language, but there is one in the settings file. However, there's only "us" in the "scripts" folder. I can test a localization for you if you send me a download link.
EDIT: also, your question was answered just two posts down...
Will a demo of this be available?
*cough* right, this was Sacred, not Majesty. In that case, no, we don't have any demo available for it, sorry.
There is a demo available on Demofiles.linuxgamepublishing.com
We'll look into getting it uploaded to Desura
Are there any plans to add the german localisation to the Desura version? (Pretty please?) :-)
and: Can I use my savegames from my windows version? (I bought it on cd in the past)
It already includes all of the localization that we have the rights to. The other localizations that have been made by third parties are unfortunately not included with our license.
As for the savegames, unfortunately I don't know.
so, since the retail game came with german localisation, I guess, it will be there also.
The game is too expensive. I can get it for windows cheaper and without DRM.
Also, 1024x768 is not a very good resolution to wide screens, so it should have come with a better resolution.
Fix this issues, and you get a buyer.
Yeah, but there wasn't any additional porting involved in the windows version. How else do you think linux porters are going to make any money??
The windows version also runs at a hardcoded 1024x768 resolution. IMHO, it's unresonable to expect LGP to *improve* the games they port (at least at this price!).
The DRM complaint is valid though; I also wish they dropped it.
Unfortunately we in fact have recently dropped the price. Last month, before coming to Desura this game was selling (and being bought) at it's original price of $40. The unfortunate reality is that games for Linux simply do cost more, and this isn't a whole lot more.
If you're curious about why, feel free to read Michael's blog post on or company blog from a few years back.
