The epic struggle of the Hiigarans and their leader Karan S'jet continues. Many thought their hardships would end when they returned to Hiigara, yet fate has not been so kind to the Exiles. Now the Hiigarans face a new and bitter enemy, a renegade clan from the eastern fringes of the galaxy, who wield the power of the ancients.
Homeworld 2 chronicles the valiant journey of the Mothership and its crew into the oldest regions of the galaxy to confront their new foe and discover the truth behind their exile.
The best part of running ModDB, is watching creator communities evolve, grow, and shape the games you and I love to play. The commitment and determination it takes to make a mod is inspiring, and Homeworld is one game that has inspired many creators on ModDB, for well over two decades now. That's why it gives me pleasure to share the news that Gearbox Publishing and Blackbird Interactive have announced mod support will be coming to Homeworld 3, when it is scheduled to release next year.
Mods will be created using the Unreal Editor, and shared in-game using the Unreal Engine mod plugin made by our friends at mod.io. Launching February 2024, players will be to create custom levels and augment ships to share and enjoy on your galaxy-spanning mission.
Homeworld 3 will give you the opportunity to join Intel Officer Isaac Paktu and Fleet Command herself, Imogen S’Jet, on a unique mission. Under sudden and brutal attack by a new enemy known only as the Incarnate, the Hiigarans must cross into the Anomaly, the place where the legendary Karan S’Jet disappeared without a trace.

I remember there was this badge pack from pack in the day that added fleet based badges, not sure what happened to it though.
There is a badge pack included in the Point Defense Systems mod that has badges from different fleets on both the Hiigaran and Vaygr sides. Might that be the one you're talking about? It's a really great pack
Hey guys, I found out that THQ is auctioning the Franchise of Homeworld, and team pixel is trying to obtain it so they can work with the series and release it on steam and even make a version for mobile devices (not to excited about that), but I am excited for their hopes to develop homeworld 3. Here's the link if you want to help keep this great franchise going. Kickstarter.com

I just Went back through the two mods I enjoyed most, those being Path To Victory and REARM, good times were had in those comment sections discussing bugs and talking about our exploits in game, anticipating the next release, begging for something to be in game. More importantly I believe was the community we built, at times sure there was conflict but we all had fun with it ehh, Talking about what we liked and what didn't work, Building up the bonds between players. Anyways at least there are people who still enjoy the game and I guess that wraps up this monologue for now save for well playing the game I suppose.
LOVE this game have fond memories off it, wish it would come to steam.
Whoever updated the header for this. Bravo, very nicely done.
What mod is it from?
Looks like Point Defense systems because that cruiser is exclusive from that mod. but now it has spread to other mods
Well, with the Tiiadan destroyers there, I'de say its either HWU, ADV(not advanced mod), or maybe complex simple because PDS as far as I remember never used that ship model.
