That's why it gives me pleasure to share the news that Gearbox Publishing and Blackbird Interactive have announced mod support will be coming to Homeworld 3, when it is scheduled to release next year.
Mods will be created using the Unreal Editor, and shared in-game using the Unreal Engine mod plugin made by our friends at mod.io. Launching February 2024, players will be to create custom levels and augment ships to share and enjoy on your galaxy-spanning mission.
Homeworld 3 will give you the opportunity to join Intel Officer Isaac Paktu and Fleet Command herself, Imogen S’Jet, on a unique mission. Under sudden and brutal attack by a new enemy known only as the Incarnate, the Hiigarans must cross into the Anomaly, the place where the legendary Karan S’Jet disappeared without a trace.

Could someone please upload their copy of the Neu_Transport.rar that sanityflare fixed by porting the Hiigaran prison transport model from HW1 and using the updated textures from the neu_transport.hod so it could be loaded in HW2? The File.sc link is dead.

it's really hard for me to activate mods using the steam and regular homeworld 2 CD won't work on my win 7 laptop how do i activate the mods i wanna play utilising the steam DLC?
i want to play cllasic homeworld, can someone give a step by step instructions? because the developer site of the remastred version have no answers for this question. i really want to activate the freespace 2 mod and bunch of others.

hi everyone, im new! and i have a question about homeworld 2 or 1 for that matter. see i wana play this game again. had it on an old pc and my new one iv had for a while now is only like a year old. but i can not for thw life of me get this game to run or get past a black screen. its sots for like 2 seconds then it just gose back to my desk top. iv lost the physical game disk it self. so i know some people will be mad but i have tryed getting it off a site that has it for free coz i dont wana pay for it a second time...anyways it just will not work on my windows7. any idias??

Ive been thinking of making mods and models for homeworld and thought id ask a few questions on here.
1) do i need to do anything special to the models or make them in a certain way to make them work in homeworld?
2) is there anyway to port homeworld models into 3ds max to i can use them as a scale for my own ships?

its a homeworld 2 mod and im looking for people to become a part of my mod and help me make it. I do have skills as a 3-d modeler but do not know how to export the files into homeworld 2 compatiable files and many of the other things required to make a mod.
