Fanart Friday: Birds by KovoWolf, journal
Fanart Friday: Birds
This Fan Art Friday features Birds!
Birds are striking creatures with tons of personality. Depending on the type of bird, you'll discover wildly fluent characters in each!
Did you know birds evolved from a group of meat-eating dinosaurs called theropods. That's the same group that Tyrannosaurus rex belonged to, although birds evolved from small theropods, not huge ones like T. rex!
“A bird does not sing because it has an answer, it sings because it has a song.” — Maya Angelou
Owls turn their heads almost 360○ (a complete circle) but they cannot move their eyes.
It is estimated that one third of all bird owners turn on a radio for their pet when they leave the house.

Fanart Friday: Wolf's Rain
Welcome to this Fan Art Friday feature! I'll be featuring none other than the magnificent series Wolf's Rain!
"Wolf's Rain" is an anime series that blends elements of fantasy, adventure, and post-apocalyptic themes. Set in a world where humanity believes wolves to be extinct, it follows the journey of a group of wolves who can take on human form in their quest to find Paradise, a legendary utopia said to be the only place where wolves can find peace.
The story begins with Kiba, a lone white wolf, searching for Paradise. He encounters other wolves along the way: Tsume, Hige, and Toboe, each with their own motivations and backgrounds. Together, they face various challenges and obstacles, including human hunters and the harsh realities of their world.
As they travel, they are joined by humans who become intertwined in their quest, including Cheza, a mysterious girl with the ability to communicate with plants and believed to be the key to finding Paradise.

Hidden Fractalist Interview - 2BORN02B by LukasFractalizator, journal
Hidden Fractalist Interview - 2BORN02B
Hello to everyone reading this journal! Before we move on to the interview itself, some of you may ask yourselves questions such as, ‘What is fractal art?’ or ‘Who are ‘fractalists’?’ Let me provide you with a very brief introduction.
According to the Oxford Dictionary, fractal is a curve or geometrical figure in which each part shares the same statistical characteristics as the whole. These structures can be found throughout nature, including in plants, minerals, and even in different states of matter such as gas (smoke), liquid (waves), or solid (snowflakes). In simpler terms, Fractal Art refers to fractals presented as an art form, created using fractal-generating software. Term "Fractalist" consists simply of the two words - fractal, and artist.
If you would like to know a little bit more, I recommend these brief, yet informative journals by C-91 and tatasz.
Finally, welcome to the latest issue of a project called Hidden Fractalist, led by me, @LukasFractalizator. I

How to draw Minty The Garden Dragon!
The theme for this month is Garden Dragons! 🌱
For this tutorial I will be featuring Minty The Mint Dragon as one of my favorite Garden Dragons to draw!
Follow the steps and create your own artwork! Post your drawing on DeviantArt with the tag #GardenDragonTutorial and get a Profile badge!
I mainly sketch my work in Painter SAI2. A lot of my color work is done in Corel Painter using the "Mona Lisa" brush.
:bulletgreen: What is a Garden Dragon?
A garden dragon is a plant-like dragon that lives in a garden pot. I originally called them "Bonsai Dragons." I have evolved them since the first creation of Bonsai Dragon and have made several different variations of them like Minty Dragon.
:bulletgreen: Why this art style?
I love to read and make comics of my own and have developed this cute art style to fit my very own comic that I run called Lucky Dragon and Friends. I post this comic regularly here on DeviantArt as well as on WebToon. Some of the recent episodes of my comic

Cherry Blossoms
It feels like you arrived only the day before,
When you entered my life through that mystery train door,
You saw it as a mistake, although I saw it as fate,
And ever since we met, oh, the secrets I've kept,
With nobody to tell, save for a seashell,
A gift from a hand I'd liked to have held,
A reminder of the past; of a dream unrealized,
Of a hope that was dashed, but still trapped in my mind,
And the ocean I hear, when that shell's held to my ear,
Each time, it reminds me of you, my most dear,
My heart, out at sea; alone, bittersweet;
Surrounded by salt, yet love to the deep
- Isabelle
"Good morning, everyone!" Isabelle exclaimed cheerfully over the loudspeaker. "Right now, the time is 8:33 am, Thursday. I'd just like to remind you all that this Saturday is the Cherry Blossom Festival! Picnicking amid the cherry blossoms, swirling in the breeze... It's the perfect way to ring in the spring! Feel free to grab your own seasonal kimono and join us for the special occasion!"
