Will these Unofficial fixes (and other Nehrim) mods work with the v1.5.0.8 Full - English Version found here or will it only work with the Steam version? Are there any benefits to using the Steam version? I am using the v1.5.0.8 from moddb because I am still using the original physical discs for Oblivion I brought when it came out BEFORE steam. Will I have to re-buy the steam version of Oblivion if I want to download the Steam version of Nehrim?
Edit: Interesting Discussion here about using the Steam version of Nehrim with a Non-steam version of Oblivion.... can anyone confirm if this works. Edit 2: Does Nehrim Drop Lit Torch still work with the Steam version? Edit 3: Nvm... I think I answered my own questions here LOL
I tested this mod with the moddb version (just in case), and it does NOT work properly (at least, not for me). In fact it actively breaks the game (black troll not aggro, quest not advancing properly, level up tutorial not appearing, etc.). Oh well, it was worth a try.
I can confirm that this mod in the non-steam version breaks the first quest at least, with the black troll not becoming aggressive, and the four torches not killing the black troll. However, it may fix some things, but it also incorporates some fixes from Nehrim Expanded. For the non-steam version users, I would recommend installing Nehrim Expanded (Google Translated into English link) instead.
Thanks FireTehVahu, I'm going to try using Nehrim Expanded on the English GOG version. Hopefully it works and doesn't make parts of the game turn into German haha.
As far as I understand, the GOG standalone version of Nehrim is the same as the Steam version, while Nehrim Expanded is meant for the Oblivion mod version.
Is this compatible out of the box with Oaristy's Revamped Nehrim (ORN)? I know there's a compatibility patch, but that requires NGO too, which introduces *a lot* of changes I'm not sure would be great for a first playthrough.

How do I know that the mod is working? I downloaded the bsa file and english esp and put it in the data folder along with SkyBSA. The mod is seen as active in the launcher, but I still have several bugs in the Robber's Nest quest (Theophil is immortal) and I get attacked by mercenaries in Sildor.
I'm pretty sure this was the issue. ^^ Glad you fixed it. However, you are either able to move ESPs up and down in the load order by using the launcher.
Always be sure that the mods load after the Nehrim main files. Even the "Translation.esp" is considered to be a main file.
Hi JustChill, appreciate the mod! I am experiencing the same issue here -- I have this mod installed (in fact this is the only mod esp I have installed) and I am getting a bugged Robber's Nest Quest with Theophil being marked as essential. I can confirm that I am using the Steam version and my load order is Nehrim.esp > Translation.esp > Unofficial Nehrim Fixes.esp
Is the Theophil bug not actually touched by this mod? I couldn't find a list of all the fixes.
Hey Justchill, I have a suggestion: Could you please suppress the 'open the inventory and select the diary to levelup!' messages that appear in german when you have 1 more or levelups stored? It's not necessary to level up immediately in Nehrim as opposed to Oblivion because your attributes aren't locked in until you go through the levelup process.
Hey, I am currently not working actively on this mod. Gamebryo got me mad again by giving issues of how the variables are treated in some of the scripts (especially teleporting to the Shadowworld). Not sure when I am coming back to, but for now the mod is considered as-is...

Here's the clean dropbox link to that mod (as the link from the page FireTehVahu sent is hard to use because of Google Translate): https://www.dropbox.com/s/7s6i2bjexgdrf8f/Nehrim%20Expanded%20Komplett.rar
Have you tried Wrye Bash?

And are you surely using the Steam-version of Nehrim?
Glad you fixed it.
