Word of advice for any potential newcomers to the series: DON'T, CA are by far some of the worst incompetent devs you'll ever meet.
For starters they tend to weave false promises in a manner that puts EA to shame and instead of actually learning from their mistakes they continue in their ill fated endeavors. Oh and did I mention how they support their games? That's right actual game support something that the community for this game can't seem to even fathom or grasp, meaning they give documentation on functions and/or sdk which was supposedly due with Empire total war the supposed "Most mod able game yet." at the time and now they promise a "unit/uniform editor" lol You have to hand it to them though they know how to lead along their sheep and how to make a complete mockery of the situation.
That's just the least of the concerns you'll have with TW, you'll undoubtedly always end up with a bugged game with little to no actual proper beta test, see Empire for ex. Last but not least the community, what a travesty, I swear seems that most who do in fact care about modding and or sustaining the old broken horse of TW are either more concerned with MINE and MY own 'epeen' thus having mod vs mod scenarios and other such childish rubbish and act like they know so ******* much about modding but they can't even define the types of mods as in not knowing what exactly a total conversion really is or they are simple blind sheep of CA.
I suggest you invest elsewhere, people who are competent and know wha they're doing. Relic, paradox just to name a few
Hey, just becouse one or two games ended up bad doesnt mean the entire series is bad. sure Empire or napoleon werent perfect, but then again star wars episode 1 wasnt perfect, world of warcraft wasnt perfect.
game is s*** compared to Empire TW, true it has better graphics but its got a terrible campaign all focousing on a french guy.
lol xD
corsican
Who cares where is origins were from? He loved France and lived most of his life in France, even studied there.
If anything, he is more French than Corsican. I was born in Switzerland yet I have spent most of my life in London, does that not make me English? Yes it does! I now have a West-London accent, know all the English in-jokes and everything.
How is this different compared to Empire total war?
it works
well, maybe because its a standalone expansion?
free download?
