How to Increase Cyberware Capacity
With all the new and incredible cyberware added in the Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 update and its Phantom Liberty expansion, it's only fitting that you'd want to equip as many of them as possible.
This guide will cover everything you need to know on how to increase your cyberware capacity, from shards and perks to level and attribute-specific bonuses.
How to Increase Cyberware Capacity in Cyberpunk 2077
The most straightforward way of increasing your Cyberware Capacity is by leveling up. When you reach Level 60, you will automatically get 201 Cyberware Capacity without any other bonuses.
Taking into account all the progression you've made to get to Level 60, you should have added levels in Engineer through crafting, overriding, disassembling, etc. At Level 30 Engineer, you get a +15 bonus to your Cyberware Capacity.
Finally, combining the Renaissance Punk perk and the Edgerunner perk with at least nine levels in all your attributes will put your Cyberware Capacity at 286.
To add to this, you can purchase the Chrome Compressor Operating System from any Ripperdoc in Dogtown, which, at maximum upgrade (Tier 5+), will boost your Cyberware Capacity by +42 for a total of 328.
- However, using the Chrome Compressor has a significant drawback, as you won't be able to use a far superior OS like a Sandevistan or a Cyberdeck.
Cyberware Capacity Shards and Console Commands
The only other way to increase your Cyberware Capacity beyond the 286/328 limit is by finding Cyberware Capacity Shards all around Night City.
Unfortunately, this is a non-guaranteed method, as Cyberware Capacity Shards are random drops from enemies or loot boxes.
Thankfully, those who want to avoid the long grind of acquiring Cyberware Capacity Shards can use the console command below and enjoy the benefits of using your choice of Cyberware without limits.
Console Command | Description |
---|---|
Game.AddToInventory("Items.CWCapacityPermaReward_Legendary") | Add a Tier 5 Cyberware Capacity Shard that you'd otherwise have to find randomly from enemies, loot boxes, or airdrops. |
