How to Get More RAM
Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 Update and its Phantom Liberty expansion have upgraded Netrunning to a whole new level. But to fully utilize this change to the game, you'll need to up your RAM slots to its maximum capacity. Here, you'll find all the possible ways to get more RAM to use all your Quickhacks without worry.
How to Get More RAM
You can acquire more RAM slots by equipping Tier 5 Cyberdecks such as the Netwatch Netdriver MK.1 (Iconic), leveling up your Netrunner skill progression, or using a Frontal Cortex Cyberware that increases your maximum RAM.
- You'll also get 1 RAM slot per 4 Attribute Points when increasing your Intelligence for a maximum of +5.
For example, the Netwatch Netdriver MK.1 comes with 13 RAM slots, but if you're Level 20 in Intelligence and at least Level 13 in Netrunner (+2) while equipping the Camillo RAM Manager (+2), Ex-Disk (+6), Self-ICE (+2), in your Frontal Cortex, it'll bring your total RAM Slots to 30 Max RAM slots (without bonuses from perks).
Having that many RAM slots allows you to use some of the best Daemons in the game that would otherwise be unavailable due to their high RAM cost.
- Ultimate Quickhacks, such as System Collapse and Cyberpsychosis, require 20+ RAMs per use.
While 30 Max RAM doesn't sound like a lot when many powerful Quickhacks cost close to that alone, using the overhauled Intelligence Perks such as Overclock and Queue Mastery will negate the initial quickhack cost.
By reducing the RAM requirement, or in the case of Overclock, completely negating the cost of quickhacks even with insufficient RAM, you'll be able to use all your slotted Daemons without having to worry about running out of RAM.
