How Phantom Liberty Changes the Base Game Ending
As you make your way through Cyberpunk 2077's Phantom Liberty expansion, you can unlock a secret ending for the base game. However, in order to do this, there are some important decisions you'll need to make in the expansion's final few missions. Below, we've detailed how to achieve this secret ending, called The Tower, and how it changes the base game ending.
How to Get The Tower Secret Ending
To achieve The Tower ending, you'll need to betray Songbird at the end of Killing Moon by handing her over to Reed (King of Swords) or refusing to kill her at the end of Somewhat Damaged (King of Cups).
- For the option during Killing Moon, you can hand her over to Reed anytime after she confesses the truth about the cure—you can immediately call Reed while in the shuttle or holster your weapon at any point during the confrontation with him on the walkway.
- When you finally reach Songbird at the end of Somewhat Damaged, she will ask you to kill her. To get The Tower ending, choose That's no solution and Won't do it.
How Phantom Liberty Changes the Base Game Ending
Upon completing the steps above, you'll achieve the King of Swords or King of Cups ending for Phantom Liberty. With this, Reed will follow through on his promise to help you. To learn about what happens with this in the base game's ending, open the spoiler box below:
