Finley is among the most unique NPCs you'll meet in the world of No Rest for the Wicked. This merchant and traveler offers an interesting assortment of various, often very powerful items. However, before you strike a first deal with him, there are several conditions to meet. On this page of our guide, we explain in detail what to do to make the mysterious trader available.
How to get the Quarry Guard Key?
Your first meeting with Finley will take place when exploring Nameless Pass - the northern part of the map which is visited during the course of "Servant of God" quest.
- Upon arriving a round prison, grab the lever located in the middle of the room. Rotate the mechanism until the second gate from the left opens. Enter the opened cell.
- Climb into the hole between the cells, then cross over to the wall. Move a little to the right until you encounter the cell with imprisoned Finley.
- Return to the wall, go left, and jump above the chasms (hold the sprint button and move into the direction of the gap, and your hero will jump over automatically). Climb on the stone ledge and climb the ladder next to it.
- One floor up, go across the damaged footbridge (watch out when crossing loose boards). After crossing the footbridge, climb the vines.
- Carefully cross the stony bridge located further down from the Fire Pit. Reach the edge of a rock formation and very gently slide down. You should land slightly to the right of the chasm.
- Climb down one shelf until you are at the wooden beam. Carefully step on this makeshift bridge. When you cross it, you will find yourself in a cell. Next to the corpse lying on the floor you'll find the needed key for Finley's cell.
- Go back to the stone pillar and go one ledge down. Using the platforms suspended in the air, you will easily return to the round prison hall. Go back to Finley's cell, open it with the key and talk to the merchant. He will thank you for saving him and invite you to use his services in the future.
Where to find Finley's shop?
After freeing the merchant, Finley will become available to you as a trader. His home and dwelling are in the central part of Sacrament, right from the stairs leading to the main square. However, remember that Finley is only available at specific hours - on Saturdays from 8:00 to 12:00. We are talking about real time here, so if you want to use the services of this trader, you're going to need to log in the game in the morning on the weekend.
If you manage to encounter Finley at his post, he will offer a wide range of different goods to sell. His specialty are enchanted items so even high-level heroes may find something viable for themselves. Finley's stock is also random, so the next visit may lead to finding something completely new.
