Adele and Ed Sheeran cheered England to victory from the stands at the Euros semi-final in Dortmund, Germany on Wednesday evening.

The Hello hitmaker, 36, looked tense before kick off as she showed her support to the Three Lions who won 2-1 against Netherlands to secure a place in the final.

The singer clasped her hands together nervously ahead of kick off as she kept her outfit simple with a black jacket and white T-shirt. 

Keeping her usual glam appearance despite looking focused, she wore her full face of makeup for the sporting event, while her blonde locks looked freshly blow dried. 

She wasn't the only chart topper to attend the match as Ed Sheeran was also seen in the crowds donning a red England top before the teams spectacular win.

England fans erupted into a frenzy after substitute Ollie Watkins dramatically clinched a winner for the Three Lions with just seconds to go before extra time..

Ollie buried a stunning strike into the bottom left corner in the 90th minute to send Gareth Southgate's men into Sunday's final against Spain in Berlin.

The striker had replaced captain Harry Kane, who had earlier equalised for England with a penalty in the first-half - cancelling out Xavi Simons' wonderstrike after just seven minutes.

Watching the match ahead of the win, Ed looked in better spirits as he smiled while chatting with his friends in a navy and white baseball cap. 

Rio Ferdinand was also seen standing in the row behind Adele as he prepared for the all important match. 

Adele will be in Germany throughout August for her series of open air concerts in Munich as she takes a break from her Las Vegas residency. 

The star was also seen reacting to the first goal scored by Harry Kane as she leapt into the air excitedly as they levelled with the Netherlands, who scored in the early minutes of the match.

Some 40,000 Three Lions supporters were in Dortmund for the game which kicked off at 8pm as England play their third semi-final in the past four major tournaments.

Millions more watched back home on TV with 28million people expected to tune into ITV's coverage and an estimated 35million pints set to be poured.

The revelry will continue through to Sunday's final against Spain in Berlin, with Tesco announcing it will close all its Express supermarket stores in England early to let staff watch the match.

England were given an official allocation of just 7,255 at the 81,365-capacity stadium, with tickets now selling on resale websites for anywhere between £385 and £8,000.

And EasyJet said its pilots will provide passengers with the latest score in tonight's match, which will be sent to the flight deck on messages sent from ground stations.

England could reach a second successive Euros final after topping their group in unconvincing fashion; scraping through against Slovakia after a late Jude Bellingham strike in the last 16; then beating Switzerland on penalties in the quarter-finals.

Britain's pubs are set for a multi-million pound bonanza from fans who are watching at home.
