Carapace is dropped from Seekers and Seeker Soldiers. It is the primary component in the Mistlands-tier heavy armor: Carapace Armor. Unlike all other primary heavy armor components, carapace can be carried through Portals.
As of the Mistlands release, arrows and bolts crafted using Carapace are generally superior to all other arrows and bolts.
