Using decades of experience in developing and fielding advanced warheads, Orbital ATK designed, built and validated the new missile warhead for hypersonic speeds in less than 60 days.

In September, Northrop Grumman and Orbital ATK entered into a definitive agreement under which Northrop Grumman will acquire Orbital ATK for approximately USD 7.8bn in cash, plus the assumption of USD 1.4bn in net debt.

Orbital ATK manufactured the motors' composite cases in Clearfield, Utah, and the motors themselves in Magna, Utah.

Under this contract, Orbital ATK will provide technical and logistic support, depot-level repair, engineering services for obsolescence mitigation for Air Force and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers and familiarization training for FMS customers.

ATK said it has filed a registration statement on form 10 with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Contradictions have also been found in the ATK report.

ATK has designed, fabricated, integrated, tested and delivered more than 3,800 stage motors in support of Department of Defense missions.

ATK has said it will retain an executive search firm to review internal and external candidates for the permanent position of CFO.
