Gyan moved to Turkey in 2017 but struggled to replicate his best form due to a series of niggling injuries.

Gyan quit the national team on Monday, seemingly unhappy at having the captaincy taken away from him despite having not played for Ghana since September 2017 due to injury.

Gyan, who made 37 appearances forSunderlandafter making a [pounds sterling]13million move to England, currently plays for Kayserispor in Turkey.

Haridwar (Uttarakhand) [India] November 03 ( ANI ): President Ram Nath Kovind on Saturday inaugurated the first Gyan Kumbh in Uttarakhand, which is being jointly organised by the Higher Education Department of the Uttarakhand Government and the University of Patanjali in Haridwar.

The police lodged a complaint against Gyan Singh under Section 427 of the IPC.

Gyan Singh has been charged under section 427 of the Indian Penal Code for committing mischief and thereby causing loss or damage.
