The consortium led by Nepal Investment Bank Limited has Kumari Bank and Citizen Bank as partners with 92% of the equity being held by
CHEC and 8% by the Nepali partners.
"This is a first of its kind facility in the country," said Jianhua Ma, Southern Pacific Division Director of
CHEC. "It will help in port logistics for the entire archipelago, and promote inter-regional trade and development."
Both the sides discussed matters of mutual cooperation and the minister asked General Manager of
CHEC to give concrete proposals for the development of Pakistan Railways, said a press release issued here.
'Pakistan and China enjoy cordial relations and all good proposals from
CHEC will be welcomed,' Sheikh Rashid said.
