First off, allow us to apologize for our prolonged absence - we've had much to contend with and it's been a very exciting (and sometimes turbulent) year for us.
However, we are happy to announce the launch of a devblog for our new game, BEACON, a sci-fi action roguelike coming to PC. We know this might not be your cup of tea as it is very different from Black Snow, but give us a chance to impress you. And if it happens to be right down your alley, then by all means follow us along the development of the game and chime in to give your feedback as we create the product together!

Sorry guys, last delay I promise T_T - some really stubborn bugs refuses to go away, I'll also use the time to decorate the levels a bit more. Believe it or not, I have twice the amount of entities in my maps as the usual Valve ones and Source is not happy about it at all.

Hey, it's only a 2 day setback! Many mod delays operate on a standard of months or even years, the notion of actually getting a release in the same week previously promised is pretty astounding. I look forward to playing it, regardless of the time of release.

I can't wait! I've got a feeling it will be a lot better than the official "The Thing" Game! (Not that bad of a game btw, Frustratingly Hard, Bad Controls, 7.5/10)

So what other movies are you putting in the game? will there be more movie ideas.
There are some but The Thing is the biggest influence, Sunshine and Alien are also big inspirations of mine as well as the Silent Hill game series (excluding the newer ones).
