Is there way? lol Mining or harvesting is not very effective and you cant mostly loot without violence.

For those who don't know what I'm talking about, The Emperor's New Clothes is one of Hans Christian Anderson's fairy tales. It's about an egotistical and greedy Emperor who loves clothes more then anything else in the whole word.
Then one day, two con-men, pretending to be tailors show up and the guy's palace and claim they can make him clothes from the finest clothes in the world. They also claim that this cloth is magical, and is invisible to anyone who is stupid, foolish, or incompetent. The Emperor foolishly believes this tall tale, and hires the "tailor" to make him a fancy new suit. He gives them a wing of the palace to work in, and pours in tons of money for equipment. But of course, the crooks only pretend to work.
While this is all going on, the Emperor decides this is the perfect oppurtunity to test the nature of the members of his court to see who is and who isn't worthy for their jobs. So, one by one, he sends his advisors, councilors, and anyone with an important job in the Empire to inspect the "tailors" work. But of course, none of them can see the fabric. Fearful that they'll lose their jobs at best... or be executed at worst, and being boot licking yes men, everyone the Emperor sends lies to the Emperor, claiming the cloth is magnificent.
When the "tailors" work is done, the present the "new clothes" to the Emperor, who of course sees nothing. And not wanting to look like a fool in front of the court, he also claims it's magnificent and hands the con-men bags of money. And then, it gets even better. He announces that he will display his clothes in front of the entire capital city via a parade. And the gullible subjects, too afraid of looking foolish in front of someone who could have their heads on the chopping block with a snap of fingers, also play along.
Except one child who's been completly locked out of the loop. They ask or comment on the Emperor's lack of clothing. It's then that everyone learns the truth. There ARE no clothes at all. There never were. In the end, EVERYONE made a fool of themselves. And the biggest fool of all, was the Emperor.
So, if Bethesda decided to get ideas from this, and created a thieves guild quest that put you in the role of one of the con-men, how would it play out gameplay wise? You and one other member of the guild are hired by the ruler of the game's providence or one of the heads of the prvidences sub-areas to make a magnificent suit that can only be seen by the smart and competent. And you need to keep the charade up. Fooling everyone sent to inspect your work. And by the end, you get the ultimate prize. You get to watch at the schmuck who hired you makes a complete fool of himself in front of the entire city. Then run for the hills with all the money you got out of this.
Guys, I need your help.
For the past few months, I have been trying to get the Experimental Subject (Silence) quest from Neloth because it sounds really cool and I want to hear the audio (because you can't really see much). But the problem is, I have done Heart Stones and Azra's Staffs 81 TIMES IN TOTAL, and I've done every other quest for Neloth. What should I do to start this one??
P.S. Yes, I've posted this on off-topic, but no one replied and changed the subject, so here I am. Also, I've noticed that there are 4 of those special quests with Neloth, so I'm hoping that if I do those two goddamn quests 100 times, I'll get it. But if you have any more info, let me know :)

I refrained from using a lot of the larger overhauls such as RDO, CRF, and IC because CRF & IC add unnecessary elements to the game and I’m not really using any vanilla followers so RDO is kinda useless for me. I went with realistic conversations instead since it’s more light weight.
This is intentionally a light weight mod list intended for no/low conflicts, while making the game look slightly more fantastical, and being a good load order for upcoming mods such as Skyrim Extended Cut.
Feel free to share your mod list below.
Discovered it by complete accident I was recharging my staff and I see the name for this pop up and discovered it was a legitimate thing
So I got the legacy of the Dragonborn mod a bit ago and unlocked the safe house. When I found out you can have your family move in along with some followers, I decided to set up the mod it was asking for. But the mod it says it needs, hearthfire multiple adoptions, apparently is not compatible with Skyrim SE. I was wondering if anyone knew how to fix this issue or if there are any other mods that do the exact same thing that would work for this?
It’s bad but won me an art competition (Somehow)
I'm assuming you guys have played elder scrolls for a considerable amount of time, do you know any mobile games similar to Skyrim?
Just a little theory:
Thief legends and loading screens say Goldbrand was forged by ancient "Dragons of the North" and Ysmir literally means Dragon of the North, so maybe it wasn't forged by a dragons but people who held the title of Ysmir?
Maybe Ysmir could've been a title given to the most powerful Tongues before the greybeards were founded which could explain why it says "Dragons" and not "Dragon", since there were many powerful tongues in ancient times, or its just an effect of a big telephone game over thousands of years.
Your thoughts?
I feel like TES 6 is a special case in that it was revealed way too early and now people have questions about the setting on their mind all the time (myself included). Do you think Bethesda will feel like they owe us information and give it to us early on (like this year or next) or do you think they'll keep it secret until the timeframe of the average videogame?
Also, as time goes by, I shift more toward hoping for Summerset rather than Hammerfell.
Companions spoiler alert:
So, I became Harbinger of the Companions and one day I'm just wandering around Jorrvaskr and say hi to Skjor... And then I pause and realize he's supposed to be dead af. This was a long time ago and I haven't played Skyrim in a while (I'm on holiday) but I'm pretty sure I remember there being a dialogue option about the player becoming the Harbinger, too.
So apparently he's alive...?
What would your merry band of adventurers with your friends look like? And what kind of class/build would you and each one be?
I was board on X box at I looked at the Skyrim "looking for a group" on X box and found these posts for and against "SOD" I tried googling it and nothing came up so Im asking people what it is.
So I’ve played the game before when it came out for the 360 I recently got the anniversary upgrade from the special edition
I gotta say the amount of gameplay elements that have been added since original release is absolutely bonkers. I feel like this game has transcended being a video game because of how alive the game is so long after release
So I was reading the page dedicated to the books of Skyrim and I got down to “The Third Door”, is it some kind of reference to the rhyme about Lizzy Bordon?
I cleared bloodskal barrow as part of a quest from the mine owner almost as soon as I landed on Solstheim, and way before doing the rest of the miraak quest lines. Got the bloodskal blade and figured out to open the door. Met zahkriisos and after a few deaths and reloads, figured I’d run past and come back for him and the word wall later. I opened the black book, got kicked out, and legged it out of the dungeon. When I tried to return to kill the dragon priest and get to that word wall, both sides of the room have gates I can’t open. Without returning to much earlier save (like level 10 character, I’m now level 52) is there a way to access this area again? I can’t complete the dragon aspect shout without it.
Sorry if this has been asked before, but I couldn't find an answer on the internet.
Does anyone know how Mannimarco kept his normal appearance after becoming a lich? Most liches you find throughout the series look very "zombified", but he doesn't.
Rorikstead is a small farming village in Whiterun Hold, supposedly named and created after Rorik, an army veteran who fought in the Great War and settled down there.
But then there are two things that contradict this entirely. First, "Ragnar the Red". I'd wager this song is rather old, but of course it may have been created after the war.
Second, "The Holdings of Jarl Gjalund". I think there's only one copy of this book in the game, it can be found after the Bleak Falls Barrow quest while Farengar is talking to Delphine. He specifically quotes that it was probably written soon after the Dragon War, in the First Era. And in this book there is mention of "Rorik's Steading", in the Western plains.
