I still have my 1985 IBM model M keyboard, which i used all the time back in my desktop computer days. GREAT piece of gear, in terms of function, aesthetics, and size. it must weight at least 5lbs! 😅
now, i barely ever use a "computer," and when I do, it's not for any kind of fun.
this stuff all looks great, though 👍
quick question: can you use these keyboards with Switch in any way?
I wish they would release a mechanical keyboard + touchpad combo - it would be great for those with PCs plugged into their living room TVs...
What are those giant button looking things? Are they spinners?
@MARl0 They are the "Super buttons", when connected to an 8bitdo keyboard you can program a macro to those buttons. It's very... niche.
Man, I've wanted a LED calculator for ages. This fits the bill, and having it double as a numpad is a nice perk.
@Razieluigi I'm exactly in that situation, I've always dreamt of buying an old commodore calculator.
I'm sure the red LED here will be modern and not have the charming old design but I can't wait to see video reviews of it
... oh my, they killed of the Problems i had with it.
Sadly they will not release other Language Layouts so far.
awesome! sign me up for a numbpad. i've been trying for a couple years to get one from keychron but they are never in stock. this looks like a great compromise. it is cheaper and works as a standalone calculator which is a weird, novel idea.
Correction for the article. IBM never made a Model M computer. The Model M is the keyboard.
