diatomic molecule (whether
homonuclear or heteronuclear) always changes

homonuclear COSY-DOSY experiment," Journal of Magnetic Resonance, Series A, vol.
The excitation of atoms of some diatomic molecules especially the
homonuclear diatomic molecules is the principle used in spectrophotometric technique.
Furthermore, this technique can provide 2D
homonuclear [sup.13]C-[sup.13]C correlation solid-state NMR spectra at natural isotopic abundance, yielding, and an atomic level structural investigation [75, 76].
500 ppm) [10], which helps to avoid signal overlap and shows less interference from
homonuclear coupling [11-13] and more importantly the solvent (mostly containing no fluorine) has no effect on the [sup.19]F NMR signal and as such solvent suppression is not necessary.
TABLE 1: [sup.1]H (300.13 MHz) and [sup.13]C (75.47 MHz) NMR spectral data for compound 2 in CD[Cl.sub.3], including results obtained by
homonuclear 2D shift-correlated and heteronuclear 2D shift- correlated HSQC ([sup.1][J.sub.CH]).

homonuclear firstrow diatomics and related thermochemical values," Theor.
Homonuclear (COSY) and heteronuclear (HSQC, HMBC) correlations enabled the assignment of the entire set of [sup.1]H and [sup.13]C resonances and identifying the five new furostanol saponin derivatives (1a/b-5).
